My name is Dennis McGinty and I'd like to welcome you to The
Waggin' Trail Dog Walking Service information page. I began
my dog care business in May of 2008, and have had the privilege of making some
of the best dogs in the world my best friends since then. Being around dogs
and having fun with them has been a part of
my life since my childhood days that I never quite grew out of, and never wanted to grow out of, and never will grow
out of. I grew up in the city during the good old days before the strict leash laws came into effect and
I knew every dog in my neighborhood on a first name basis.
Later
on in life whether it was getting strange looks for choosing to play with
a friends dog over watching "the big game", or voluntarily taking care of family and friends
dogs while they were on vacation, I've just always loved dogs. They're always happy, they never complain, and they're just
fun to be around. What more can be said about them? That's one of the reasons I decided to
establish The Waggin' Trail Dog Walking Service. I just enjoy being around dogs.
Another reason is because after working at jobs most of my life that have been rewarding in the conventional ways, I've never
had a real passion for any of them. Whether it was construction, or telecommunications, I just never felt I found any career
I could see myself doing for the rest of my life. And I would often think about what I could do
that I'd actually feel fulfilled doing but could never come up with any ideas. And many times over the years I would actually
be walking my own dog while pondering that thought at the same time. Finally after 12 years of walking along with my
dog Roxy, light shined on marblehead and it dawned on me... "I wish I could do this for a living!". So
I established The Waggin' Trail Dog Walking service, where every dog is cared for and is safe at all times as if
they are my own.
I take
the responsibility of taking care of your family pet very seriously and have in the past 13 years proved that to many loyal
clients that I will provide references from to all new clients. I want to be 100% confident that I live up to your expectations
and standards before I take your pup for that first walk. And I believe that once you see me interact with your
dog I'm sure you'll have no problem trusting me with their well-being. My main goal above all else, is
to keep your family pet safe while at the same time having as much fun as possible.

the day while you're at work, or simply just want them to be socialized with other great dogs, please look no further, I have
a connection with dogs and understand that unconditional love goes both ways when it comes to them. And they can sense that
connection.
I am also the sole proprieter and walker so there will never be a "staff member" or "employee"
that your dog doesn't personally know show up at your door. The dogs I have cared for since beginning in 2008 have become
like family members to me and that's always been my goal. I must also give you fair warning, some of my clients have actually
accused their dogs of loving me more than they do them. So hopefully you won't mind the
